Videos

So some fabulous blogger commented on our site with these two videos:
Shorewood's Video to "You Make My Dreams Come True"
Shorecrest's Video to "Hey Ya"

Basically there was a competition between the two
Shoreline schools to see who could make the best video.
Shorewood clearly ran train on Shorecrest, but vote here

Happy Holidays!

As the day comes to an end (only two more classes), everyone seems to notice that we are so close to the break. At Lakeside, every student realizes that a moment of freedom is instead a moment wasted. Any free time hinders you from doing homework, college stuff, and extracurriculars. It's madness at this place and that is why our breaks, for the most part, are heaven.

So from the Love Police, who will be throwing out a holiday edition quite soon, have a safe and relaxing holiday break!!!

XV is my Guy

Okay. So I'm driving around in JNewts car with Morg and Marky last saturday and this song comes on. I'm listening you know, minding my own business while Morg talks to his mom on the phone about partying. And I really like this song. So I do some research aka ask FigNewton what the song is on them radios. And he says this dude XV. And I'm like OMG SRSLY?! And explain to him that I have heard some songs (so have you. Mirror's Edge in Episode 2 if you listen to the music).

So I did some more research and here he is:
The video is a little weak but his music is SUPER nice. Look for Episode 5 tomorrow!!!!

This video will make you happy

Coldplay- Strawberry swing. The whole thing is done in stop-motion and is all drawn in chalk while Chris Martin is laying on a giant canvas. amazing

Oh Tiger

So I was reading different websites trying to find some more info on this Tiger Woods scandal, and one of the sites led me to this SNL skit with Keenan Thompsan (from Keenan & Kel) playing Tiger and Blake Lively playing his wife. It starts out pretty slow, but I was actually laughing out loud by myself in my room by the end.
enjoy

Pursuit of Happiness

So my hero (Kid Cudi) just released a new video for the single of his album called "Pursuit of Happiness." The song and video depict the shallow pleasures of nightlife in a cool and creative way, and further prove how filthy Cudi is.

Time to Vent.

I feel like its time to get some things off my chest. And with a great blog like the one we have, this is the perfect opportunity to share my opinions with the rest of the world.

First thing I need to say is that I hate GOODS. I feel the need to say this because many kids go there thinking that its the cool place to get new clothes and shoes to show off to their friends. I have to admit that I was once one of those kids, but no longer. First of all, have you ever talked to the people that work there? They are rude, inconsiderate, and overall not cool people who like to take advantage of all of the hypebeasts out there just to make a profit. Secondly, most of the kids that shop there are zombie consumers who think that anything there is awesome and therefore worth the insane prices they are sold at. Next, the stuff that GOODS has in store is getting worse and worse. There is the occa
sional limited release of a nice pair of nikes or something, but everything else is just name brands that have a history in streetwear culture, but the countless pair of obscure shoes in colors that almost induce seizures is too much. The clothes there are also overprices, played out, nike sb gear that only appeals to skateboard posers who don't know what their doing. Because of this, shoe and clothing fans of seattle, I suggest you grow a soul and join my disrespect towards the monster that is GOODS, and go shop at the many other great clothing stores of seattle.

The next thing that needs to be addressed is my guy Chip Tha Ripper. If music could be categorized like movies are (coldplay would be
drama, justin bieber would be chick flicks, etc.) Chip would definitely be comedy. He is good friends with one of my favorites Kid Cudi, and got his big break on the song Hyyerr on Cudi's first album. I've been following Chip for a very long time now, and his new mixtape just came out. He's about to blow up, so I just thought I'd let all of yall know.

The third thing I want to discuss is winter time. This is one of the greatest times of the year. The cold weather sucks, but when the snow comes down, its totally worth it. Everyone needs to go downtown, buy a peppermint mocha, and just walk around and enjoy the atmosphere. Christmas day is never as good as the days leading up to it, so enjoy it now while you can.

Happy Christmahanakwanzika!

Episode 4!!!

Super niceee episode today. Lots of arguing, lots of drama, and many bleeps because Sten said some dumb stuff while I said funny stuff that he didn't like.

I have decided to name this episode "Hitlah". Thanks!

MUSIC UPDATE

First of all, Yeezy joined forces with 30 Seconds to Mars and dropped a song called Hurricane which will release on December 8 in 30 Second's LP This is War. I like it.

Secondly, Chris Brown's new album Graffiti is actually really really good. I think that he is coming out with his best work now as he tries to salvage his career. As for the album, it's right here because he beats women and we at the Love Police aren't down with that. Holla holla!
